  • RAID - Bubba Two now supports RAID1 for mirroring your internal hard drive against eSATA drives. It also supports extending the internal disk with an external. 
  • BACKUP - Incremential backups with timeline giving the possibility to restore data from any existing backup set. You can choose to schedule your backup regularly, and also to encrypt the backup making backup to a non-trusted machine possible. For instance, backup to your FTP account at your internet provider or to a friends Bubba. 
  • PHOTO ALBUM - Share your digital photographs with family and friends with just a few clicks. 
  • Also various upgrades are included, for instance new versions of SqueezeCenter and filetransferdaemon.

This gives benefits as: 

  • Completely silent! No moving parts at all, gives 0 dB noise.
  • Even lower power! No heat generating drive allowing power consumption to be pushed down to just 3-4W during full operation. 
  • Extended life time. Estimated MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) according to disk manufacturer is 1.5 Million hours, that's 170 years.

  • Autodetect of LAN network settings and "Network profiles". Both to ease installation and moving the Bubba Two between different networks. 
  • Setup wizard. Minimal wizard to set up basic configuration of BUBBA|TWO.
  • Timezone support and NTP to automatically adjust time.
  • Bug fixes, mainly with Easyfind and the Firewall.
